As Director General of Somalia’s National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), he contributes to the advancement of national health insurance and efforts to expand access to quality, affordable, and financially sustainable healthcare. His leadership focuses on strengthening systems, supporting effective institutions, and creating approaches that respond to the needs of communities and populations.

Beyond his public-sector leadership, Dr. Jalaaludiin is committed to developing future leaders and strengthening professional capacity. Through RIYAADA Institute for Leadership & Governance (RIYAADA Academy), he promotes executive education and professional development in leadership, governance, public administration, institutional reform, and health systems management.
